Comments about Columbia Sportswear Omni-Heat Ridge 2 Run II Earflap Hat: used for being out in the cold. although small for my bulky melon, it keeps it very warm. Soft fabric keep my face from being irritated, and paded chin strap feels good. Sometimes worn with thin balaclava. Coldest temp used was about -10F and was comfortable with minimal activity.

I stayed warm without having to cinch the mummy bag around my head (so I could use a more comfortable pillow). Despite being warm, my hair stayed dry and was not all messed up - testifying to the breathability and proper fit of the hat. Its also great on blustery winter days because you stay warm but don't sweat.
