    Comments about Coleman WeatherMaster 6 w/Screenroom - 17x9 - 6 Person Tent:

I use this tent mainly for car camping. I love the size, it fits our family well (five kids-two dogs). I love the screened in porch, although I wish their was an option for having walls roll down in the event you wanted it for more space or weather. I noticed several cosmetic issues, fabric sewn together over top of another not allowing me to put all poles in the clips. The fly is at first glance a good design but I've gotten wet twice in this tent and that is unacceptable. You shouldn't have to buy a $20 blue tarp to put over your $300 tent to have it be waterproof after only a year of light use. I love the door design.

            Comments about Coleman WeatherMaster 6 w/Screenroom - 17x9 - 6 Person Tent:

I recently went on a week-long camping trip and needed a larger tent because this is the first with our son, who's 11-months old. We needed a larger tent to accommodate his pack-n-play.
I bought this because it was relatively inexpensive and was very surprised at how well it held up. We had a huge storm one afternoon it was literally raining sheets of water. As we sat in our car and eventually drove someplace else without trees, I fully expected all of our gear to be wet and that we would be sleeping in a hotel that night. The rain lasted about 1hr and afterwards , I was happy (and surprised) that there was only a tiny leak from a seam near a window. The entire amount of water that had pooled on the floor of the tent was sopped up with just one paper-towel.

The tent was also comfortable in that i could stand up in it and the divider inside meant that my son could sleep on one side and we could be awake on the other without waking him up.

For the price, this tent is excellent!

Only used it once so far, seemed pretty good. Weather was fair, so not really battle tested yet. We'll see how well the ground cover holds up. Recommend a second one if you can spare the car space.

              Comments about Coleman WeatherMaster 6 w/Screenroom - 17x9 - 6 Person Tent:

We are active with Girl and Boy Scouts and needed a tent for the family. We live in Belgium where it rains a lot. The tent needs two adults set it up, and you need to really use every tie out on the fly to make it work well. In hours of rain, we found the tent leaks through the fly and where the fly water runs off hitting the side of the tent. The floor did not leak even though there was a mini pond underneath at the end of the storm. If you expect rain, take an extra tent sized water proof tarp to put over the tent. It is otherwise a good tent, in that it is spacious, comfortable and affordable.

This is a tent that will need more than 1 person to set it up 2 at least and 3 people would be better. Allow 20 minutes to a half house to setup. Setup becomes quicker the more times you set it up.

Does the screen room have some time of wall that can close it off in bad weather. I do not mean a wall from the tent portion to the screen room. I mean walls that close in the entire screen room such as is found a some big box stores?

we only have an 8 man weathermaster without the screenroom. if you are planning on using it in the worst of weather conditions i would recommend using another brand such as Eureka or Kelty. Also you may want to look at dome style temts wich are a bit better at handeling high winds.
