Cons Best Uses Comments about Coldpruf Women's Extreme Performance Expedition Weight Underwear Crew Shirt: I've been a fan of polypropylene long underderwear for its softness, breathability and warmth for years but had difficulty replacing the quality I had with any other product til now. Even Merino wool is too itchy for me. Tested this long underwear at -15 degrees and it is terrific. I recommend it highly to anyone who has to do barn work (or any kind of work) in all conditions, every day.

This does the trick. I can layer over it and then strip to use it as a top by mid afternoon.

Since it looks basically like a longsleeve t-shirt, I can just wear it with jeans, but it fits wonderfully under a sweater or hoodie on really cold days. And it's wonderfully warm.
