Working very comfortably outside in the cold (low 40's) all day to going inside with the heat on at night and they make the transition so comfortable that I tend to forget I have them on. I have yet to get hot, cold, or sweaty in them. They've been great so far. The fabric is not smooth and luxurious but I haven't really had an issue with it. They don't roll up into a ball when washed and dried as some synthetics do. I said that these have a poor fit but I was just on the size line between med. and large and I went for larger. If you're on that line I would suggest going for the medium. The large is very loose but still keeps me very warm. I would totally recommend them as a great deal for the price.

Comments about Coldpruf Enthusiast Polypropylene Lightweight Pants - Women's: I used these as a night layer for backpacking at 0 degrees and was overall very pleased. My only 'complaint' was that the legs do not have a cuff to keep them in place at my ankles, particularly problematic when adding layers. THis was not enough of a complaint to keep me from buying these again - I just added some light elastic at the bottom.

Comments about Coldpruf Enthusiast Polypropylene Lightweight Pants - Women's: These are a very soft comfortable product; the waist feels good, there is no shrinkage, and they seem to keep their shape wash-to-wash. They keep me at just the right temperature, and are breathable, when I do get too hot. However, they would be best used with high socks pulled up over them, because there is no cuff to keep them in place, at my ankle, where they belong. I find them riding up my leg while I'm walking...VERY ANNOYING!! I wear these under scrub pants, in a "colder" environment. I'll need to sew something to the bottom to remedy that problem.
