Comments about The North Face Women's Paramount Peak Convertible Pants 30" inseam: Great for hiking, and if it's not quite hot enough to fully unzip to shorts, I can just unzip a 1/4 of the way just to get more air flow.

Comments about The North Face Women's Paramount Peak Convertible Pants 30" inseam: I would watch out on the fit. I found that they ran small and did not fit me.

Comments about The North Face Women's Paramount Peak Convertible Pants 30" inseam: Thanks to ALL who wrote these run small in the waist. I'm 5' 7" with 45" waist. Jeans I run between size 16 or 18. I ordered the 20 and they JUST fit. Going to Peru with these and should be comfortable. It does have a draw string if you need to cinch it in a bit (for those of you who are pear shaped and HAVE a waist, as opposed to apple shaped me). Happy I got them.

Best Uses Comments about The North Face Women's Paramount Peak Convertible Pants 30" inseam: I loved these pants, but even after reading reviews and ordering a size up, they were incredibly too small in the rise and in the waist. I have a small waist and they were way too small. Soooooo disappointed!

Comments about The North Face Women's Paramount Peak Convertible Pants 30" inseam: These were really, really nice looking convertible pants as they were not too bulky around the legs, but they did not fit around my midsection. Also, I ordered both the shorter length and the longer length and found I was somewhere in between - I am 5'6" and should be able to fit the average length pants, but they were a bit too long. After searching all over the internet for convertible pants for my plus size body (size 18-20), I was only able to find a pair at [...] for around $55 that fit comfortably, but are not as flattering and kind of bulky as they were made for plus size women (they are a size 2X). I am resigned to keeping these ([...] pair) even though they are not as flattering as the ones they make for smaller sized women with brands like Northface - even Columbia, who usally accomodates plus sizes, does not make a convertible pant for plus size women except the psyched to hike pant, which is kind of see through.

Comments about The North Face Women's Paramount Peak Convertible Pants 30" inseam: I love these pants - the best part is that unlike other convertible pants they have a longer short so i don't feel like I'm showing my booty off when I'm going up hill. And they look really cute too!

I thought they were about an inch to inch and a half below. They have a zipper and 2 snaps plus a draw string and 6 pockets. I would order a size up, I thought they ran very small.
