I have changed sizes many times due to increasing weight and I always buy a few pairs of these shorts in each size I have been. Right now, I am somewhere in between a 1x and a 2x, but I find the shorts might run a bit large, so I ordered a 1X and they are much more flattering than a 2x. I used to buy the XL misses size, but am now into plus sizes. I have even ordered from the Columbia web site. Columbia has said that they would be getting new colors in this spring and I checked, but only found fuschia to be new and only offering it in Misses sizes, not plus sizes. They thought they might have purple in the spring, but I did not see purple. Very comfortable, versatile, and attractive short. I love taking my long walks in them. I am glad that Campmor offers this short in plus sizes and in decent colors at a reduced price. Thank You.

They aren't the most flattering (very boxy leg) but they are very functional. I appreciate the plus size.
