Comments about Smartwool Women's NTS Midweight Turtleneck: Love Smartwool! We have a horse and spend a sustantial amount of time in a cold barn. Smortwool shirts are a great way to stay warm. The material doesn't hold the barn odor and keeps me warm in the coldest of temperatures. I'm warm when riding, but frequently get cold afterward. The material dries fast and is breathable so I stay warm. Highly recommend Smartwool for cold, outdoor activities. I laughed when I saw the price of "long underwear", but my husband convinced me to try it. He was right...worth every penny.

Comments about Smartwool Women's NTS Midweight Turtleneck: I love this turtleneck. For skiing, I wear it over a crew neck polypropylene, but it is soft enough to wear as a base layer. It was hard to find a layering piece that is wool and also a turtleneck. I think it wicks as well as polyester. I also use the Smartwool "neck up".

I layered this with a Smartwool camisole and a mid weight Smartwool pullover. I WAS SO comfortable all day. I was always the last one to put on my down jacket! AND, I'm usually the first one to get out the down.

Comments about Smartwool Women's NTS Midweight Turtleneck: Since receiving this sweater, I have had a hard time getting it to the wash, since I want to wear it every day. It looks nice, layers flawlessly, is cozy and itch-free. I use it as a base layer when I know I'll be out in the cold, and wear it as an outer layer if I'm staying indoors. I love the lines, the fit and the feel. And when I finally do take it off to launder it, I just toss it in a cold water cycle, and hang it on the line, and it is just the same as it was when I first got it -- same shape, same size, same softness. The color on the Web page is not exactly the same as the actual item, but that has not been a problem for me. I love it!
