Comments about Marmot Zeus Down Insulated Jacket - Men's: I have this jacket with and without hood. Both are warm, light weight and versatile for any hiking conditions, including 14K ft peaks. The Zeus without the hood in black is stylish enough to wear out or to the office. It's light and thin, but amazingly warm as well. Simply my go-to jacket in the hood, on the slopes or cold weather hiking.

In Atlanta, I'd never needed a down jacket enough to buy one, but now my travels take me to places where I don't want to pack heavy outerwear. This jacket's amazing. Not being a hard winter northern resident, I never equated light and warm in a coat or jackt. And at 6'2" and with a 36" waist, the Large is a great fit. Fit would have been the deal breaker since I've often had trouble. NOT THIS TIME. PERFECT. In one review I read that it "Doesn't make you look like the Michelin Tire man." True.
