Bought this for my daughter. She much preferred the way this pant fit compared to the campmor girls techmor pant. It was easy for her to zip the pant legs on and off.

My boys love these; they're comfortable, lightweight, quick drying, packable and versatile. The Sage color is perfect to be used as part of the Boy Scouts uniform. The belt loops are a little small, but the Scout belt is woven and I can get it through the loops with a little manipulation. There is no fly but my kids don't find that to be a problem.

A word on sizing: My younger son wears size 8 jeans and the Small fits him perfectly in length with a little room for growth. My older son wears a size 14 jeans and the Medium fits similarly in length. Both boys are on the slim side and the waistband fits them comfortably. I don't think these would fit husky children well. Because the Medium is so much larger than the Small, kids may have a phase where they might need to wear them a little short (or long.) For hiking and camping, I'd err on the short side. However, there is velcro on the cuffs to keep them from dragging on the ground.

These are really nice pants at a great price.

My 10-year-old son loves these pants and immediately wanted a second pair. He's had two pairs for about a year. He has a slim waist and likes the elastic. They do run long, but he's growing, and the velcro keeps them from dragging the ground.

He wears them indoors and out, any season except cold winter. He says they're comfortable, they're light, they shed water and dry fast, and they don't get too hot in the summer. Also they have very large pocket space -- he can carry small water bottles in them, and when he zips off the legs he puts them in the pockets. He says good uses are camping and everyday wear.

He wants me to buy more in the next size up. He has outgrown most of his size 8 pants (in length anyway) but is still wearing the Smalls in these and they still fit.

My son went on a five day camping/hiking trip. He wore these and loved them. They dried quickly when wet. He zipped off the bottoms when the day got hot. Light weight made them easy for packing!

None of these have ever actually worn out -- once our son fell on his knee and skidded which created a small hole. They allow him much freedom of movement to the point that sometimes he will just zip off the legs for his tennis lesson, rather than change into athletic shorts.

I'm a "young" senior woman that has found these slacks to fit me perfectly in an XL. Love the elastic waist, and the zip off bottoms.

I bought these pants for my sons when we go hiking and fishing in the mountains...they were AWESOME! They were the perfect weight and the boys loved the zip-off option of shorts when the temperatures were warmer. A great price too!

I ordered these pants for my 14 year old son who needed switchback pants for his 10 day hike at Philmont Scout Ranch. He is borderline slim so pants are hard find for him. The waist was perfect and he liked the longer shorts when the pant legs are removed. He wishes the belt loops were wider as they were too small for a leather belt. He could only carry 2 pairs of pants on his trek and these worked wonderfully for him. He liked the pockets. I liked the price.

My son had several pr. of these at camp last year and loved them. When he outgrew them, we ordered several pair again for this summer. They're lightweight for good sun/bug coverage on hot summer days, they stood up to my teen's heavy use and he loves that they're pants and shorts in one (less to pack for camp!).
