Best Uses

Comments about 32 North Stabilicers Lite:

Hiked icy trails at the Grand Canyon. I walked over pools of ice that spread over narrow trails, they gripped and never slipped. They are quick and easy to pull on in less than 5 minutes. The bad part is they can slip off, this is easily fixed for extended use a shoe lace or string to secure them in a cris cross pattern to your shoe or boot.

      Helping me stay upright!

      By Yooper Girl

      from Upper Peninsula of Michigan

Comments about 32 North Stabilicers Lite:

I recently reviewed this product and gave it 3 stars based on it coming off of one of my boots several times. I have since tried it on other boots and have found that it stays on very nicely if the boot is not smooth and has some ridges on the heel to keep the rubber bands secure. I'm revising to 5 stars because these things are saving me on a daily basis!

        Best Uses

Comments about 32 North Stabilicers Lite:

These carry better than Yaks or Microspikes and are easier to put on. They're also flatter under foot on hard ground. Use them for traction on ice, hardpak, and even wet leaves.

          North woods helper

          By Yooper girl

          from Upper Peninsula of Michigan

          Verified Buyer

          Pros

          • Good traction on hills
          • Stable on ice and snow

          Cons

          • Falls off of boot

          Best Uses

          • Hiking in woods
          • Walking slippery surfaces

Comments about 32 North Stabilicers Lite:

I really like these a lot and they have worked better than snowshoes for me on hikes that have steeper areas that require more careful footing. Also we have a really long driveway and this winters weather has left it very icy and treacherous for walking. They have been a great help just walking to get the mail. The only downside is that one of the stabilicers has come off of my boot several times while hiking. This is after several uses, but I would expect that I'd be able to use them longer than a few weeks...and this is happening with only one. If both stayed on consistently, these would be a five star product for me.
