Real Dog Rescue is grounded in the belief that every dog matters.
Real Dog Rescue was founded by animal lovers and friends who are dedicated to aiding dogs, no matter their age, breed, location, or health condition. Our goal is to save every dog, as every one of them is valuable. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for the dogs in our care through foster homes, veterinary care, and behavioral training with the help of volunteers. We aim to promote and implement the highest standards of animal welfare in our community and beyond.
Our belief is that we should assist wherever there is a need, as long as we have the means to do so. This is only possible with the support of our community as Real Dog Rescue does not receive funding from any government agencies and solely depends on donations from our supportive community. Our rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing efforts are heavily reliant on the involvement of volunteers who are willing to contribute their skills.
Our hearts are filled with love, our passion is unlimited, and our journey is just beginning.

Volunteers are the lifeline of Real Dog Rescue and much of what we do to save lives, depends on the support of our volunteers. Every volunteer role is integral in helping us rescue more dogs and find them loving homes. Volunteering is rewarding and promotes a sense of community, while helping animals in need. There are many ways for you to help:

Real Dog Rescue needs foster homes. Click for more information
Foster homes are provided with all of the necessary supplies to care for a foster dog during the length of its stay in foster care. Real Dog Rescue will provide all necessary medical care to prepare the dog for adoption at one of our participating veterinary partners. We will also provide, food, a crate, bedding, toys, etc. as needed.
Foster homes will be partnered with an adoption coordinator to answer all of their questions and keep in touch regarding the progress of the foster dog, events, and possible applicants.
